We plan to have growth plans for each employee and ensure that everyone has a clear progression chart if they achieve the goals laid out for them. This ensures that there's no misalignment on expectations from employees but most importantly tells them we keep their future in mind. But tactically, we have a slack channel called "spotlight" where anyone can show their appreciation for employees and in every town hall, we appreciate one person who went above and beyond their job description.
As immigrant founders who came to US for our MBA program, our class comprised of 90 students, out of which 45% were international students. It was a huge eye opener for us to see such diverse thoughts on every issue. Ensuring everyone has a leveling ground is very important to personally. But I do think we can do a much better job at this at Goldcast. That said, there are two areas we focus on
Hiring diverse people and making sure hiring managers don't have biases when they look for candidates
Making sure everyone has a voice in the company
Archaic marketing channels such as emails and webinars are super crowded. Modern B2B marketing is all about engaging customers and building communities. We believe that events will bridge that gap and be a key driver in the modern enterprise’s GTM tech stack. Goldcast is unlocking events as a marketing channel by building the Marketo for B2B events (a $25bn market/~30% of B2B marketing spends) - helping enterprises deliver, scale, and measure events that drive revenue in an integrated platform purpose built for B2B marketing and sales teams.
We are building a good team of humble individuals who are eager to win. And we aspire to keep the culture that way as we build a massive business :)
