How do you show employees you appreciate them?

While gross compensation matters, the intangibles are just as important to long-term satisfaction and  appreciation. Beyond salary increases, bonuses and equity awards,  we recognize growth through promotions and title advancement, and we offer financial rewards with significant company milestones.   Culturally, we provide lunches on-site, commuter subsidies, and contribute to home internet / cell phone expenses. We offer professional and personal growth training and encourage participation and attendance at industrial conferences, and we welcome face-time in the office for our remote team members. Relationships matter and we foster the personal side with regular social events, celebrations for spacecraft launches and other events and milestones, and quality company SWAG.
